When Academy Award-winning actor Kate Winslet first read the script for the family drama “Goodbye June”, she knew she had to do more than just star in it: She had to direct it.
Celebrating Goodbye June: A Joyous Collaboration
The CPSH are thrilled to have supported the beautiful 2025 film Goodbye June, directed by the incomparable Kate Winslet and brought to life by Working Title Films and Netflix. The story follows four adult siblings reunited for the holidays as their witty, big-hearted mother, June (played by Helen Mirren), faces a decline in her health, but on her own humorous and honest terms. It’s a film full of messy, complex, and wonderfully human family dynamics, and we were delighted to play our small part in bringing it to the screen.
Over an energetic and demanding five months of prep, casting, and wrap, our team worked hand-in-hand with production to navigate the complexities of children’s regulatory compliance, safeguarding, and policy requirements. To support the young performers, we provided a professional team of City & Guilds trained Chaperones and Tutors. The CPSH carefully aggregated tutor hours to ensure every educational requirement was met on time and in harmony with a lively shooting schedule and daily DOODs.
Through our consultancy services, our mission was simple: Make the process seamless so the creative team can stay focused on what matters most: The storytelling.
